Jan Kromkamp

Jan Kromkamp arrived at Anfield in January 2006 from Villareal in exchange for Josemi. He was brought in as a right wing-back to provide width on the troublesome right side and supply crosses to the forwards. Kromkamp was a member of the Alkmaar side that made a surprising run to the 2004-05 UEFA Cup semi-final. He has become a regular in the Dutch squad, having played 8 internationals.

Kromkamp was part of the Holland squad for the 2006 World Cup but left Anfield after just six months at the club when he returned to his homeland to join PSV Eindhoven on August 31st 2006.
