Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson has agreed to go on loan to Charlton Athletic until the end of the season to gain valuable experience that will one day hopefully benefit the Reds.
Carson signed a contract extension at Anfield last month which will keep him at the club until 2011.
The 20-year-old follows defender Djimi Traore who signed for the Addicks for £2million last week.
