Liverpool fans’ blog Kopblog proved it really is “the blog’s dollocks” by being crowned Best Football Blog 2008 in the Football Fanzine Awards. Kopblog is part of the This Is Anfield website and is updated by blogger Gerry Ormonde. Kopblog has been running since 2003 and updated by Gerry since 2005.
“Kopblog received the most nominations in this award category. Frequently updated with news, match previews, well written articles and reports, Kopblog is a passionate take on the life and times of Liverpool FC.” (The Football Fanzine Awards)
Sunderland fanzine ‘A Love Supreme’ was crowned best overall football fanzine, while This Is Anfield was named best Liverpool fanzine.
