Liverpool have flown out a fairly young and inexperienced squad for the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie against FK Rabotnicki in Macedonia on Thursday night.
Roy Hodgson has opted not to take the likes of Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher, who only returned to training last week.
However, new signings Danny Wilson and Milan Jovanovic make the squad and could make their first full debuts for the club.
It will be a great opportunity for Liverpool’s young blood to show Hodgson what they’ve got with the likes of Nathan Eccleston, David Amoo, Lauri Dalla Valle and Jonjo Shelvey all traveling.
The Liverpool squad in Macedonia is: Cavalieri, Aquilani, Agger, Jovanovic, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Wilson, Ngog, Spearing, Darby, Shelvey, Kelly, Skrtel, Eccleston, Ayala, Hansen, Gulacsi, Amoo, Dalla Valle, Ince.
FK Rabotnicki vs Liverpool gets underway at 7.45pm tomorrow (Thursday) night.
