Suarez misses internationals to recover from injury

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is confident he will be fit to play in the Reds’ Premier League clash against West Brom on April 2nd, after withdrawing from Uruguay’s squad to face Estonia and the Republic of Irelnad.

The 24-year-old, who helped Liverpool to a 2-0 victory at Sunderland on Sunday with his second goal for the club, picked up a slight groin injury.

“In Liverpool working hard to be ready for next match,” Suarez wrote on his Twitter account. “I’ve been lucky, the injury isn’t that bad and it should be fine.

“I also want to tell you I’m a bit sad for not playing the match with Uruguay.”
