Fantasy Football has been around for years, but we wanted to offer our readers a place to test their knowledge of the Premier League to the test against other Liverpool fans.

You get £120 million worth of virtual money to select your starting XI and five substitutes from the Premier League‘s players. There’s a limit of three players from one team, so which Liverpool stars will make your line-up?

Each gameweek, you’ll earn 2 points for each of your players who start, 1 point for substitutes, plus points for goals, assists, clean sheets, shots and hat-tricks.

Watch out though, because you’ll lose points for conceding goals, own goals, bookings and red cards!

After the completion of each game week during the Premier League season, points will be added to your team and your position in the This Is Anfield Fantasy Football League Table will be updated. There’s also a weekly league table to see who’s team performed the best week-by-week.

Throughout the season, you’ll be given the opportunity to make transfers and changes to your team each week. Who will be the best Fantasy League player amongst Reds fans?

We’re also on the lookout for the best team name — early contenders are Lovren you aint easy and The Biscan Bottlers!

We’ll be announcing prizes for weekly, monthly and overall winners in the near future, so make sure you’re signed up and you’ve selected your fantasy team in time for the new season.

You’ve got until 11am on the first day of the season — Saturday, 16th August 2014 — to make sure your team is submitted.

Who will make your This Is Anfield Fantasy Football team? Let us know your selections and tips for others in the comments section below, or in our Liverpool FC Forums.
