OLIVER SMITH

Predicted finish: 3rd

Top Goalscorer: Sturridge

Player of the Year: Coutinho

Best New Signing: Lovren

This season I’d be happy with finishing in the top four and reaching the quarter finals of the Champions League.

HENRY JACKSON

Predicted Finish: 4th

Top scorer: Sturridge

Player of the Year: Coutinho

Best New Signing: Lovren

This season will be a big success if we get top 4, knockout stages of Champions League and a domestic trophy.

JACK LUSBY

Predicted Finish: 4th

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Philippe Coutinho

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

Hopes / Aims for Season: I would be happy to achieve a top-four finish, have a good crack at the Champions League and make sure we win a trophy along the way. More importantly I hope we continue to see the majestic football we’ve come to know so well!

IAN CLARKSON

Predicted Finish: 3rd

Top Goalscorer: Sturridge

Player of the Year: Coutinho

Best New Signing: Markovic

This season I’d be happy with: top four, no domestic trophy but a very good run in the Champions League.

STEVEN HARRIS

Predicted Finish: 4th

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Coutinho

Best New Signing: Can

This season I’d be happy with: Top 4 finish, good CL campaign (knockout stages), domestic trophy.

MARCO LOPES

Predicted Finish:  4th

Top Goalscorer:  Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year:  Phil Coutinho

Best New Signing:  Emre Can

Hopes / Aims for Season: Maintaining the presence in the Champions League is critical, but it would be awesome to pip someone (likely Arsenal again) to 3rd or higher, if nothing else just to avoid that horrid playoff before the Group Stage.  Chelsea & Man City have strengthened very well so 3rd is likely the ceiling Liverpool could realistically hope for.  A FA Cup win would be nice, but not at the expense of the League.

MAX MUNTON

Predicted Finish: 1st — City and Chelsea may have the players, but I’d rather have a team.

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge or a player we’ve yet to sign.

Player of the Year: Jordan Henderson

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

This season I’d be content with fourth, happy with second and over the moon with first. Some brilliant European nights would complement it nicely. I’d also be delighted if they sorted the leg room out in the Lower Centenary – make us dream.

DAN HOLLAND

Predicted Finish: 1st

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Phil Coutinho

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

Hopes / Aims for Season: I think we have a great chance of going one better but ultimately I would be happy with top 4, win the FA Cup and reach the knockouts in the Champions League.

MARK PEARSON

Predicted Finish: 4th

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Raheem Sterling

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

This season I’d be happy with: consolidating a position in the top 4 and knockout stages of Champions League.

BEN TWELVES

Predicted Finish: 3rd

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Raheem Sterling

Best New Signing: Emre Can

This season I’d be happy with Champions League qualification again, hoping we sneak a shot at the title. We’ve come too far to take a backward step which is why a top four finish at the very least is essential.

SI STEERS

Predicted Finish: 3rd

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Raheem Sterling

Best New Signing: Emre Can

If we can achieve a top 4 finish and keep pace with the title challengers I think it will be a good league season. The Quarter Finals of the Champions League and a domestic cup I think should be a realistic aim, but it all depends on the draw.

Anything on top of this I think would be another great season.

AARON CUTLER

Predicted Finish: 5th

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Phillipe Coutinho

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

This season I’d be happy with a top four finish, a domestic trophy and qualification to the knock-out stages of The Champions League. For me, that would constitute a very good campaign.

JOSEPH COPELAND

Predicted Finish: 3rd

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Philippe Coutinho

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

This season I’d be happy with a Top 4 finish while reaching the Round of 16 in the Champions League. A domestic trophy would be welcomed as well.

TOM McMAHON

Predicted Finish: 4th

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Philippe Coutinho

Best New Signing: Alberto Moreno

Hopes / Aims for Season: To consolidate a place in the Champions league while obtaining some much needed silverware (or a good cup-run at least).

NEIL POOLE

Predicted Finish: 1st

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Raheem Sterling

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

Hopes / Aims for Season: This season I’d be happy with either winning the league or a top four finish and winning a cup. A top four finish would be ‘acceptable’.

KYLIE MITCHELL

Predicted Finish: 4th

Top Goalscorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Raheem Sterling

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

I’d be happy with another top 4 finish this season. This isn’t me being negative; I just feel that others around us have strengthened and we could struggle at times up top, particularly if Daniel Sturridge gets injured. Also, we are likely to face sterner competition from Man United this year. If we bring in another quality striker then a top 3 finish is possible. Regardless, I’d see CL qualification twice in succession as a massive step in the right direction.

As for the cups, I’d like to see us get out of the group stage of the CL at least. A decent run in one (or both) of the other cups would be nice too considering we’re yet to have one under Rodgers.

JEFF GOULDING

Predicted Finish: 1st

Top Goal scorer: Daniel Sturridge

Player of the Year: Raheem Sterling

Best New Signing: Dejan Lovren

I believe we can go one better this year. Realistically though, I’d be happy with a top three finish. This would represent a consolidation. Ultimately the riches on offer could potentially keep us there for years to come.

In terms of the cups a good run in either of the domestic competitions is a must. Looking at the squad now, a trip to Wembley and Brendan’s fist trophy, possibly the League Cup is a realistic prospect.

Liverpool are likely to get a tough group in the Champions League. Nevertheless, you wouldn’t back against Anfield producing more magic. I could see us getting into the knock out phase of the competition. After that anything is a bonus. The quarter finals would be a very respectable return in the competition.
