Video Flashback: Danny Ings recalls England double vs. Portugal

Ahead of England under-21s opening European Championship game against Portugal, new Liverpool forward Danny Ings recalls his double the last time the two sides met last year.

Ings has signed for Liverpool from Burnley but the two clubs are yet to agree on compensation for the 22-year-old, meaning a tribunal will decide how much the Reds must pay the Clarets – a fee of around £6 million is expected.

Ings is part of a strong England Under-21s squad and will be fighting for a starting place alongside Tottenham‘s Harry Kane in Gareth Southgate’s side in the tournament.

England u21s vs Portugal U21s is on Thursday night (7.45pm kick off BST – live on BT Sport in the UK)
