Jordon Ibe was one of the breakout stars of Liverpool’s 2014/15 season, and he is aiming for a successful future on Merseyside.

The 19-year-old winger returned from loan with Derby County in January, going on to make 14 appearances for the Reds, including man-of-the-match performances against Everton and Besiktas.

Ibe is earmarked for Liverpool glory, and Vauxhall Football spoke to him about his future aims in a quick-fire interview towards the end of 2014/15.

The winger also revealed the toughest defender he’s faced as Mamadou Sakho, the best goalkeeper as Pepe Reina and his most memorable game as his Premier League debut against Queens Park Rangers in 2012/13.

Of his future with Liverpool, Ibe said: “I need to just continue playing now, trying to get minutes and trying to get goals.

“Hopefully the team can get back into the Champions League, so it would be an aim to win the Champions League one day.”

Ibe has lofty ambitions, but is an extremely talented young player with a level-headed attitude.
