Liverpool will play Everton or Sunderland in the FA Cup Semi-Final, to be played at Wembley on the weekend of 14/15 April after beating Stoke City 2-1 at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Luis Suarez and Stewart Downing saw the Reds through to the semis, against a strong performance from Tony Pulis’ Stoke.
Undoubtedly, the Reds’ tie will be played on Saturday 14th of April, with the 22nd anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster falling on the Sunday.
Sunderland held Everton to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park yesterday, and take them back to the Stadium of Light for a replay next week.
