Liverpool defender Jose Enrique will miss Thursday night’s Europa League play-off first leg against Hearts with a knee injury.
The injury kept the SPanish left-back out of Liverpool’s 3-0 defeat to West Brom on Saturday afternoon, and now he doesn’t travel with the squad to Edinburgh.
Brendan Rodgers has also opted to give Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Glen Johnson and Martin Skrtel a rest, so they don’t travel to Scotland.
New Moroccan international winger Oussama Assaidi also misses the trip as he is cup tied.
Hearts vs Liverpool gets underway at 7.45pm on Thursday 23rd August 2012 at Tynecastle and is live on ITV 4.
