There’s no place for sidelined duo Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson – although both could make their long-awaited returns for Liverpool following the international break.

Liverpool host Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday, with their next game then away to Man City on Saturday 21st November.

Meanwhile, Jordon Ibe is named in the England under-21 squad to face Bosnia and Switzerland.

Hodgson has just three forwards in the squad, no doubt wishing Sturridge and Danny Ings were available.
