Liverpool have started what looks to be a new tradition at the AXA Training Centre, and the new addition has already received approval from supporters.
Several senior players returned to training on Wednesday alongside a host of academy talents, with Alexander Isak reporting for his first day as a Red.
The club’s cameras followed the Swede and the small training group, overseen predominantly by set-piece coach Aaron Briggs, performance coach Ruben Peeters and academy coach Jay Spearing.
And it was during their activation session inside the AXA’s sports hall that a new addition was noticed, with three photos hung above the panelling.
The first is of Federico Chiesa‘s winning goal against Bournemouth, the second is Rio Ngumoha celebrating his winner at Newcastle, and the last is Dominik Szoboszlai‘s free-kick goal.

They are the defining moments of the season so far, and it stands to reason that a new tradition has emerged, with each game likely to be depicted on the wall to serve as motivation.
It remains to be seen if it is player-led or if it requires a vote should there be more than one defining or best moment in a particular match, as the first three have been obvious choices.
It is a simple touch but reminds the players to celebrate each win, big or small, and strive to get their picture on the wall throughout the campaign, and supporters are certainly fond of the new addition.
This is really cool and encouraging
Watch Arsenal do this and claim it as their own in a few game weeks time https://t.co/u8TYu0rBM1

Nice touch.
Hopefully the players aren’t competitive and don’t get greedy shooting too much ?— LFCAllIn (@LFCALLIN) September 10, 2025
This is to keep their minds active on past actions so they can reflect on it to the next coming games… that's a great psychological mind building

A large canvas of the players facing the Kop during the title celebrations last season is also hung up in the sports hall for the squad and staff to see every day.
It will be nice to watch the pictures slowly take over, especially as the number of fixtures now leaps to every midweek and weekend for Liverpool!
