Three of Liverpool’s fixtures in the lead up to Christmas have been changed, while the referee for Liverpool vs. Man United has been named.

Three of Liverpool’s Premier League fixtures have been moved for Sky Sports in the run up to Christmas:
• Sunderland (H) – Wednesday, December 3, 8.15pm (GMT)
• Leeds (A) – Saturday, December 6, 5.30pm
• Tottenham (A) – Saturday, December 20, 5.30pm
As well as the fixtures already in place, there would be another added if Liverpool were to beat Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
The resultant one-legged quarter-final would be scheduled for December 16 and 17.
In the first 20 days of December alone, the Reds will play five or six matches, with the fixture changes for after Christmas yet to be announced.
Mo Salah will likely leave for the Africa Cup of Nations after facing Brighton on December 13, therefore missing the following weekend’s match against Tottenham.

Instead, we’ll use this last line of the round-up to mark 22 years since Steven Gerrard became the captain of Liverpool.
It was announced that he would take over from Sami Hyypia prior to a 3-0 win in the UEFA Cup, at home against Slovenian side Olimpija Ljubljana.
