As many as eight players who could have been involved in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace will likely miss out through injury.
Against Brentford, Liverpool were missing both Ryan Gravenberch and Alexander Isak as a result of injury worries, but an extra few days of recovery could see them back in contention to play this week.
Meanwhile, Curtis Jones has been assessed over a suspected groin injury suffered on Saturday night in west London.
Here is who could miss out for Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace:
• Curtis Jones (suspected groin) – doubt
• Alexander Isak (groin) – doubt
• Ryan Gravenberch (ankle) – doubt
• Jeremie Frimpong (hamstring) – out
• Alisson (hamstring) – out
• Giovanni Leoni (ACL) – out
• Jayden Danns (hamstring) – out
• Stefan Bajcetic (hamstring) – out

As mentioned, Jones was forced off at the Gtech Community Stadium in the 70th minute and is a doubt for Wednesday’s cup match.
After the match, Slot said: “We have to wait and see. He asked to be taken off. He walked off instead of needing a lot of treatment so I have to wait and see.”
Gravenberch and Isak were absent on Saturday due to groin and ankle problems respectively. The last we heard on the latter was Friday when Slot said he was “not too bad.”
Both are in contention for the weekend’s match against Aston Villa but are unlikely to be risked in the cup if they are not 100 percent fit.
Meanwhile, Jeremie Frimpong, Jayden Danns, Stefan Bajcetic and Alisson all remain out with hamstring issues, and Giovanni Leoni is of course sidelined with his ACL injury.

In terms of those who will feature, we expect Freddie Woodman to make his debut in goal, while Trent Kone-Doherty, Kieran Morrison and Calvin Ramsay could be surprise inclusions in the squad.
There is more concrete news regarding Crystal Palace, with Oliver Glasner already confirming that back-up ‘keeper Walter Benitez will play in goal.
In addition, Jaydee Canvot will start in defence as Chris Richards misses out due to “a little bit of an issue with his calf,” according to his manager.
