Liverpool lineup vs. Frankfurt confirmed: Isak and Ekitike start together for 1st time

Florian Wirtz is among those to return to the Liverpool lineup as Arne Slot makes five changes for their Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Slot has again employed rotation for the Champions League‘s league phase and will be hoping it pays off as Liverpool seek to end a four-game losing streak.

Giorgi Mamardashvili keeps his place in the ongoing absence of Alisson, with Freddie Woodman and youngster Kornel Misciur the other goalkeeping options.

Jeremie Frimpong joins the back four along with Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

With Ryan Gravenberch ruled out Curtis Jones is expected to take up the deeper role in midfield, starting alongside Dominik Szoboszlai.

Wirtz starts and is likely to join a fluid forward line with Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak – the latter two starting together for the first time.
