New Liverpool Adidas kit leak – black and gold shirt set for limited-edition release

Adidas are set to release a new limited-edition Liverpool shirt later this year, with reliable leaks revealing an eye-catching black-and-gold design.

Liverpool are in their first season back in partnership with Adidas and the three official kits for 2025/26 are proving hugely popular with supporters.

The standout is arguably the green third kit which has already been worn on two occasions by Arne Slot‘s side and includes a throwback crest.

Further releases as part of Adidas’ training and fashion ranges are similarly in demand, which may also be the case with a new limited-edition ‘Lifestyler’ shirt.

Reliable leaks via Opaleak and Story Jersey show a black shirt with gold accenting and an all-over pattern inspired by the Shankly Gates.

The same pattern can already be seen on the pre-match shirt worn during warmups.

The limited-edition shirt, which also features the standard LFC crest and Adidas trefoil logo, has a thick V-neck collar and gold piping running down the sides.

Footy Headlines reports that it will be released towards the end of the year as part of a wider ‘Lifestyler’ collection also including a track jacket.

It should be noted that there are no plans for Arne Slot‘s side to wear the shirt during any official matches and instead it is part of a range exclusively for supporters.

This follows a similar trend during Liverpool’s contract with Nike, with limited-edition shirts released seasonally such as those in association with LeBron James.

In other news, Adidas’ plans for next season’s kits have already leaked, with a traditional red home kit to be accompanied by a white away kit and a black third kit.

Leaked information suggests the third kit will be a throwback to popular releases from 2011/12 (away) and 2020/21 (third).

Liverpool announced record-breaking sales in the first week after releasing this season’s home and away kits, with Florian Wirtz‘s No. 7 shirt the most-purchased.
