Liverpool players were given a rare Christmas off and that afforded them time with their families and friends, and one Red had a birthday to celebrate as well!
The festive schedule often affords little time for players to stay at home and enjoy a full Christmas Day, but no Boxing Day fixture meant they could savour every moment with their families this year.
Although they likely had to hold back on the pudding more than we did!

Alexis Mac Allister had more than one reason to celebrate as he turned 27 on Christmas Eve, no doubt he appreciated the extra time off this year!
And it was also the first Christmas he and his partner shared with their daughter.
It was also a memorable day for Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Calvin Ramsay as their new additions to the family celebrated their first Christmas…

Federico Chiesa and Cody Gakpo were all dressed up and looking dapper in their festive posts, with the latter no doubting wishing he’s back in the squad against Wolves after missing the last three with injury.
Now all that is left is for the lads to deliver a belated Christmas present on Saturday when they host Wolves at Anfield.
