Liverpool forward Ryan Babel posted the following photo to his Twitter account today, showing the scene from outside the club’s Melwood training ground in West Derby:
Babel arrived back in Liverpool today, with the players having been given Sunday and Monday off training following the Reading match on Saturday.
Liverpool’s John Lennon airport has now re-opened after being closed earlier due to the weather, although delays remain for most flights. The snow is still falling this afternoon in Liverpool and is expected to fall again on Thursday and Saturday, possibly putting Sunday’s home match with Tottenham in doubt.
