This chart, produced by Oh You Beauty blog (@natefc), outlines Liverpool’s goals for and against under manager Brendan Rodgers.
It shows how Liverpool have been consistently poor in defence, which will come as no surprise – except a short period towards the end of Rodgers’ first season and the start of last season (when we recorded three clean sheets in a row).
However, the key showing is goals scored; when they dry up, Liverpool’s results dry up – as the defence will always concede.
