Have you read today’s Kopblog?

In the latest entry on Kopblog, our resident blogger Gerry pays homage to Peter Crouch, who completed an £11million switch to Portsmouth on Friday afternoon after three seasons at Anfield.

I find it ironic that many of the media clowns who were very critical of the boss for buying Crouch in the first place, were the same people who later criticised him for not playing him more and no doubt some of them will now be critical of him for selling him.

Gerry looks back at Crouch’s 135 appearances for the club and wishes him luck with his future.

In addition, Gerry looks at how Rafael Benitez was forced to sell the England international striker to raise the funds for further signings this summer, with co-owners Tom Hicks and Gillett’s antics meaning ‘œwe haven’t got a pot to piss in!’
