Line-up: LFC vs Man Utd

Steven Gerrard returns to the Liverpool starting line-up to captain the Reds against Manchester United today in the 12.45pm kick-off at Anfield.

Kenny Dalglish starts with a strong line-up, giving Dirk Kuyt the nod ahead of Andy Carroll to partner Lui Suarez up front.

Liverpool: Reina, Kelly, Enrique, Carragher, Skrtel, Lucas, Adam, Gerrard, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez. Subs: Doni, Bellamy, Carroll, Henderson, Spearing, Robinson, Agger.

Kick-off at Anfield is 12.45pm.

    dalglish said that he had lots of options on the bench now. He should have use his other 2 subs in the last 5minutes at least. some fresh legs would have surely accelerated the game better,when opponents were tired
