Incredible rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone in Melbourne

Liverpool’s first ever match in Australia began with a spine tingling rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone, sung by the record crowd of 95,000 inside the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The attendance for the match is the highest ever for a Liverpool friendly and the highest for a football match in the state of Victoria. Some FA Cup Finals in the 1980’s had crowds of a similar size, but of course were not completely made up of Liverpool supporters.

So Wednesday’s friendly was the highest crowd of Liverpool supporters ever.

This gave me a special and empty feeling at the same time. Special for obvious reasons, but empty because i know that as an Australian there won’t be many more times in my life that i’ll ever be able to experience that again. I still have hairs raised on the back of my neck. Wow, just wow. YNWA

That was one of the greatest things I’ve ever experienced tonight. I thought nothing could beat the eery silence of 90,000+ during the ANZAC observance on ANZAC Day each year where you can literally hear a pin drop, but my gosh! Truly awe-inspiring. We are the best club in the world, I love this club! YNWA

I just had a tear after seeing this video.. All the LFC fans were so passionate about their club unlike some Manu fans, most Chelsea fans..
