Video: Ben Woodburn scores stunner as Liverpool under-18s progress in FA Youth Cup

on 02.02.2016

Liverpool U18s booked themselves a spot into the 2015/16 FA Youth Cup fifth round with a 3-0 win at home to Cardiff City U18s last week, thanks to goals from Ben Woodburn, Corey Whelan and Brooks Lennon.

The opening goal from 16-year-old Woodburn, casually lobbing the keeper after chest controlling Adam Phillips‘ long ball, is about as good of a goal you are likely to see all season!

The young Reds will face Nottingham Forest in the fifth round on Thursday night (7pm kick off at the City Ground).
