Following Liverpool’s emphatic 4-0 victory over Barcelona at Wembley, we take a look how the Reds reacted to the pleasing success across their social media accounts.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds turned on the style in front of a sold-out Wembley crowd as they made light work of the La Liga champions.
Sadio Mane’s sharp strike after 16 minutes, finishing a clever move, gave the Reds a half-time advantage at the Home of Football.
Javier Mascherano’s own goal doubled the lead two minutes into the second half, which was trebled a minute later when Divock Origi raced clear and coolly slotted home with immaculate timing following pre-match news of Daniel Sturridge’s hip injury.
A fantastic looping header from Marko Grujic from Lazar Markovic’s clever stand-up added deserved gloss to the scoreline for Liverpool, who fully earned the songs and applause that greeted them on their post-match lap of appreciation.
The impressive win prompted the players to share their jubilation with fans on social media, and here is how Klopp’s men reacted.
