Liverpool get their League Cup campaign underway on Tuesday evening when they travel to Championship side Burton Albion (7:45pm kick-off).
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping he can take his side one step further in the competition this year after a heartbreaking penalty shoot-out defeat in Wembley’s final against Manchester City last season.
The German manager could ring the changes for the Reds at the Pirelli Stadium with one eye on Saturday lunchtime’s Premier League trip to Tottenham.
“No injuries. Little issues, if you want,” he told reporters at Melwood on Monday.
“I could name a few names, but they can still play. I haven’t made a final decision.”
The match gets underway at 7:45pm BST — that’s 2:45pm New York, 11:45am California, 4:45am Sydney, 2:45am Singapore, 10:45pm Dubai and 9:45pm in Nairobi.
