Daniel Sturridge & Jordan Henderson give Liverpool boost ahead of West Brom clash

Liverpool could welcome back two senior players for the FA Cup fourth round tie against West Brom, with Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson available.

Sturridge has been absent for the past six weeks, missing 10 matches in the process.

The striker has been continually linked with a move away from Anfield, and as such the past couple of games he has been excluded for despite having returned to training.

Seeking regular game time, Sturridge is keen to secure a switch and win a World Cup spot, with Inter Milan the most prominent name interested.

However, no agreement is yet in place between all three parties and the Echo report the striker could return to the fold against West Brom as a result.

Sturridge himself appears to favour a loan move to Sevilla in La Liga, but the Spanish side have not tabled a bid.

Needing minutes to prove his worth, and with the Reds potentially looking to rest Roberto Firmino, Jurgen Klopp could opt to bring Sturridge back in on Saturday night at Anfield.

Meanwhile, captain Henderson could be available for the match, reports the Telegraph.

Henderson has been recovering for over a month, having gone off injured against Arsenal just before Christmas, but he is now back in full training.

Klopp has not yet decided whether or not his captain will be involved though, with a pile-up of fixtures looking likely in the weeks ahead.

In the English midfielder’s absence, the captain’s armband has been passed around the team of late, with Dejan Lovren, James Milner and Emre Can all skippering the side.
