Liverpool Ladies recovered from three straight defeats to trash Bristol Academy 4-1 in the Continental Tyres Cup quarter-final on Sunday.
Matt Beard’s side progressed courtesy of four goals from star striker Natasha Dowie.
The Reds will face either Birmingham City, Notts County, or the winner of London Bees vs Watford, in the semi-final.
The cup competition has been a welcome one for the two-time WSL champions, who are struggling in the league, sitting sixth (out of eight) in WSL1.
