Kolo Toure also retains his place, while Glen Johnson switches to right-back and Jose Enrique comes in at left-back.

The last time Johnson and Enrique lined up as The Reds’ full backs was QPR away, a match that is actually Liverpool’s last win, despite their abysmal defensive display on the day.

Philippe Coutinho comes into attack, supporting Rickie Lambert and Raheem Sterling.

With no Fabio Borini on the bench, Liverpool don’t have a forward among their subs.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Toure, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Lambert

Subs: Jones, Lovren, Moreno, Lallana, Gerrard, Markovic, Can.

Today marks 16 years to the day since Steven Gerrard‘s debut.
