The Under-21 international once dubbed ‘The new Michel Platini’, has not to made an impact at Anfield and never delivered on the promising form he showed while a youngster at Le Harve.
He has failed to win a place under Rafa Benitez and has spent last season on loan at Sunderland.
‘I have no idea about my future yet,’ he told But. ‘I will see after the Under-21 European Championship.
‘But I don’t think I will stay at Liverpool.
‘I will ask for a transfer because I still have three years remaining on my contract and I don’t want to be loaned any more.
‘I want stability.
‘A comeback to France is obviously my priority. I have first contacts, as with Paris Saint Germain, but nothing has been settled so far.
‘It is true Bordeaux are a good club – competitive and with a great environment.
‘Moreover, there is the Champions League.
‘My friends Rio Mavuba and Julien Faubert told me Ricardo is a great coach.
‘I would really like to go there.’
