Robbie Fowler hope to be fit for the squad traveling to Sheffield for the opening Premiership game of the season. The Liverpool number 9 has missed the last two matches due to a knee problem.
Rafael Benitez is expected to reinstate Sami Hyypia, Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Craig Bellamy after all four were rested from the Reds’ starting line-up in the Community Shield victory over Chelsea on Sunday.
