Hiddink not writing off Reds

Chelsea manager Gus Hiddink is refusing to start the celebrations too early, despite his side taking a 3-1 lead from last night into the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with Liverpool.

Hiddink knows that Rafa Benitez’s men are capable of turning deficits around, although the Reds must score at least three times in the return leg at Stamford Bridge next Tuesday.

After last night’s game, Hiddink said, “The next game we have to be very concentrated.

“We can’t take it lightly because Liverpool have proven in the past that they can surprise.”

The return leg, Chelsea vs Liverpool at Stamford Bridge is on Tuesday, April 14th and kicks off at 7.45pm
