Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has told Spanish sports journal Marca that he would love to see international temmates David Villa and David Silva at Liverpool.
Torres believes signing the pair, who both play for Valencia, would be a great move for Rafa Benitez this summer as he looks to improve his squad to put up a bigger challenge for the Premier League title next season.
Torres told Marca, ‘œVilla and Silva would complement Liverpool greatly.
“It is difficult to say which league is better, but The Premiership is more competitive because the British are becoming stronger and players are coming to England.’
Torres, who scored his 50th goal in just two years for the Reds last Sunday, added that he wishes to one day return to Athletico Madrid to finish his career.
‘œIt would be important to end my career where it started,” he said.
