Liverpool’s Carling Cup third round tie away to Leeds United has been confirmed to be played on Tuesday, 22nd September.
The game, to be played at Elland Road, will kick-off at 7.45pm and is live on Sky Sports.
It will be the first time the two teams have met since Leeds were relegated from the Premier League in 2004.
Leeds also announced today that they expect there to be such a demand for tickets for the game that they will re-open the upper tier of their East stand for the game.
