7 Reds called up to England U19’s squad

In another display of the exciting young talents in Liverpool’s academy, seven players from the Reds’ have been called up for the England Under 19’s for the UEFA European U19 Championship.

Full back John Flanagan, who has recently broken into the first team, is joined by fellow full back Jack Robinson, centre back Andre Wisdom, midfielders Jonjo Shelvey and Connor Coady, winger Tom Ince and forward Michael Ngoo – who spent the latter month of the season on loan at Hull City.

England will face host nation Switzerland, along with Spain and Montenegro at the end of the month.
