Premier League fixtures – Reds start at home to Sunderland

The Premier League fixtures have been revealed for season 2011-12, and Liverpool will face an opening day match against Sunderland.

It will be the second year running the Reds have started at home and pit new signing Jordan Henderson against his former club.

Liverpool will then travel to London to face Arsenal for their first away fixture of the new season. Their third match is at home to Bolton.

Kenny Dalglish‘s side finish the season away to newly promoted Swansea City, with their final home game against Chelsea.

The festive period throws up home games against Newcastle and Blackburn, with Man City away on January 2nd.

Merseyside derbies are in October and February, with Man United fixtures immediately before and after each derby.

Meanwhile, Man United will open against West Brom (a), Chelsea travel to Stoke and Arsenal travel to Newcastle on the opening day.
