Liverpool could be on the verge of pulling off two signings of England Under-21 players todays.
It emerged last night that 20-year-old Jordan Henderson will undergo a medical on Merseyside today after Liverpool agreed a deal with Sunderland for the central midfielder.
Henderson is expected to complete his move to Anfield today, with Reds striker David N’gog moving to Sunderland in a deal worth a combined £20million.
Meanwhile, some bookies have suspended betting on highly rated Blackburn centre-back Phil Jones joining the Reds today too.
Some reports suggest Jones will also be at Melwood today for a medical, with Liverpool hoping to tie up a deal for the 19-year-old England U21 international later today.
The England U21s depart for Denmark for the European Championships today.
