Luis Suarez hasn’t been able to contain his excitement ahead of his return to the Liverpool squad for tonight’s match with Tottenham at Anfield.
The Uruguayan forward hasn’t played for the Reds since Boxing Day, having missed the last nine matches through suspension.
Luis wrote on his Twitter and Facebook this lunchtime “Finally the day came!!!”
It will be interesting to see whether Kenny Dalglish starts his star player tonight, with quite a selection dilemma facing the boss.
Aside from Lucas, Liverpool have a fully fit and available squad and Dalglish certainly isn’t short of attacking options now. Steven Gerrard is back after missing the Wolves match – where all three attackers – Kuyt, Carroll and Bellamy – scored.
