Team News: Liverpool v Spurs: Suarez on the bench

Luis Suarez is on the bench for Liverpool tonight against Tottenham.

The Uruguayan has missed the last nine matches with suspension. Kenny Dalglish keeps with the same attacking trio that scored at Wolves, with Andy Carroll supported by Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy.

Steven Gerrard replaces Jordan Henderson in midfield.

While Jose Enrique is ruled out through injury, meaning Glen Johnson starts at left back, with Martin Kelly coming in at right back.

Spurs are without Rafael van der Vaart, Jermaine Defoe and Aaron Lennon.

The match goes ahead despite heavy fog earlier on Merseyside.

Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp will not be in attendance at the game after his flight form London City airport was cancelled. He couldn’t travel with the rest of the Spurs squad due to his current court case which he attended this morning. Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan will take charge of the visitors.
