Will Kenny start Carra for the FA Cup Final?

Liverpool vs Chelsea
FA Cup Final; Saturday 5th May 2012 (5:15pm)

One of the big questions Liverpool fans are asking ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup Final is whether Jamie Carragher will start for the Reds.

The Liverpool veteran was rested for the defeat to Fulham on Tuesday night, along with many others, leading many to assume Kenny Dalglish is planning to start Carra against Chelsea as he did against Everton in the semi-final.

Against Everton Carragher started alongside Martin Skrtel, with Daniel Agger shifting to left-back. It was those two out of position players who failed to clear the ball that allowed Jelavic to open the scoring.

The other key question facing Dalglish is whether to start Andy Carroll alongside Luis Suarez up front. That question also dictates whether the Reds will start with 442, as they did against Everton, or 4231 as they did last weekend at Norwich.

Steven Gerrard will return to midfield, with Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing also expected to start.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are without centre backs David Luiz and Gary Cahill. Didier Drogba is expeted to start up front instead of ex-Red Fernando Torres.
