Over the past two nights, ahead of tomorrow’s findings from a three year long inquest, both BBC and ITV have shown programmes on the Hillsborough disaster and the reaction to it.
The second one shown last night on ITV in particular was an informative programme, shown nationally unlike the BBC version which was also much shorter in length. The ITV programme discussed many of the police failings and dispelled the myths that were falsely reported in the aftermath of the disaster.
