Sky Sports reporter Pete O’Rourke this evening claims Liverpool are set to allow Spanish youngster Suso join newly promoted La Liga side Almeira on loan.

Meanwhile Liverpool’s highly rated young striker Michael Ngoo has joined newly promoted Championship side Yeovil Town on loan for the 2013/14 season.

Could academy forward Michael Ngoo be an alternative attacking option?

“The signing of Michael will create strong competition for our already strong front line,” Glovers’ manager Gary Johnson told the official Yeovil website.

Ngoo had a productive spell on loan to Hearts at the end of last season.

Liverpool have reportedly rejected an offer from Bolton Wanderers to take Raheem Sterling on loan for the season.

18-year-old Sterling made 18 appearances for Liverpool’s first team last season and will be hoping to make an impression for a regular first team place this coming campaign. The England winger returned to pre-season training early after injury curtailed his season and reports last week suggested manager Brendan Rodgers will look to Sterling and fellow teenage winger Jordan Ibe rather than bring in Christian Atsu.

And finally, a rumour from the Twittersphere today that could quite well turn out true, regarding centre back Sebastian Coates:
