Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss reports today that the club are set to offer Brendan Rodgers a new five-year deal to stay at Anfield.

The Liverpool Echo report that the club want to put their full faith in the 40-year-old by agreeing a new long-term deal.

Rodgers is almost half-way through the three year deal he signed when switching from Swansea City to Liverpool in 2012.
