Since retiring from football a year ago, Jamie Carragher has caught the public eye with his media work for Sky Sports, but he’s also been busy setting up a number of Soccer Schools in the UK, Scandinavia and Ireland.

The former Liverpool defender has now decided to open up the opportunity for young coaches around the world to own their part of the Schools.

Jamie told This Is Anfield: “A lot of guys come out of football or have just fallen short of being a player are coaches already and need a new opportunity, they have the capabilities to coach but need a leg up, thats what I’m trying to achieve.

“With our backing, we’ll take away all the stress and allow people to grow their own business in an industry we all love. We hope to have a soccer school in every major city and every region that love football as much as they do in Liverpool.”

Since launching last year, Carragher’s Soccer School have provided free coaching to children through Carragher’s 23 Foundation. His first coaching classes took place in Bootle, where Carra grew up.

The new opportunity for aspiring coaches will be supported by Jamie’s UK team, with franchisees getting equipment, kits, online capabilities, coaching support, business advice plus all the marketing to get them off the ground.
