Brendan Rodgers looks like switching to 4-3-3 shape, with Philippe Coutinho coming into the side in place of Joe Allen alongside Gerrard and Henderson in midfield.

Markovic and Lallana come into the attack, alongside Balotelli.

There’s attacking ammunition from the bench in the shape of Rickie Lambert, Raheem Sterling and Fabio Borini.

The Reds are without Martin Skrtel, Jon Flanagan, Allen, Daniel Sturridge, Glen Johnson and Emre Can due to injury.

The back four remains the same as last time out against Tottenham, with Lovren and Sakho as the centre-backs and Spanish duo Manquillo and Moreno as full backs.
