Confirmed Liverpool lineup vs Everton: Steven Gerrard and Jordon Ibe start

Liverpool play Everton in the 224th Merseyside derby, at Goodison Park (5.30pm kick off, UK).

Steven Gerrard starts what will be his final ever league Merseyside derby, alongside Philippe Coutinho in the attacking midfield role.

Jordon Ibe makes his first start for the club since a League Cup game against Notts County in August 2013. The 19-year-old’s only previous Premier League start was his surprise debut against QPR in May 2013.

Ibe replaces Lazar Markovic in the starting XI, while Daniel Sturridge is named among the subs.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Ibe, Lucas, Henderson, Moreno, Gerrard, Coutinho, Sterling.

Subs: Ward, Johnson, Lovren, Lambert, Sturridge, Allen, Markovic.

Everton: Joel, Oviedo, Jagielka (c), Stones, Coleman, Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas, Naismith, Lukaku.

Subs: Griffiths, Gibson, Kone, Barkley, Lennon, Browning, Alcaraz.
