Liverpool Academy defender Lloyd Jones has joined League Two side Accrington Stanley on an initial one month loan deal.
The 19-year-old was previously on loan at Cheltenham earlier this year, along with midfielder Kevin Stewart and forward Jack Dunn. All three have since returned to Merseyside but are now expected to complete moves away before the loan window closes this month.
Jerome Sinclair and Harry Wilson are also possible loan departures from the club’s impressive under-21 side.
“The [loan] window ends in the next 14 days and we’ve got a number of things, there’s a nice little break now where we can sit down and talk about them,” said under-21s boss Michael Beale after the 2-1 mini-derby win over Everton on Monday.
“I’m sure Alex [Inglethorpe (Academy director)] will sit down with Brendan and make the correct decisions for the boys.”
