Warrior redeem themselves with new LFC jacket

After the recent unveiling of the new Liverpool away kit, and leaked images of the new third kit, it’s fair to say manufacturers Warrior were roundly mocked and criticised.

But, the Boston based designers have thankfully followed a similar clean and traditional tone to the new home kit with their design for the “walkout” jacket that the players walk out wearing before games.

The jacket is part of Warrior’s new training range, which is available from this Thursday when the new third kit is officially released too.

The question recently is whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be wearing red next season. The latest report in The Mirror claims “sources at Anfield insist their main transfer deal of the summer is still some way from completion”. This contrasts reports from Russian media over the weekend that claimed a deal had been agreed. Time will tell.

Liverpool’s players begin pre-season training on Tuesday morning, where they’ll be joined by new signings Simon Mignolet, Iago Aspas, Luis Alberto and Kolo Toure.

I like the new jacket, looks great, i like the away kit too! does that mean the fashion police will be knocking on my door in the middle of the night? not keen on the third kit purple? yuk! does that save me?

Fashion police have just got your address from the NSA and are on their way. Good thing for you is that all that will happen to you is, as a first-time offender, that you’ll get a fashionable hair-cut and be put into posh clothes. Don’t let this ever happen again.. Let running around like Justin Biber after the fashion police’s visited be a lesson to you.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooo, not Justin Biber!!! i’ll do anything, please, anyone but Justin, i’ll have to move, n quick…

It’s your choice. Justin Biber’s style or that of, what’s her name, Hannah Montana.

I’d consider buying this, would they have designed it without the sponsor’s name.

  • Rak S

interesting that they’ve used the old club crest on their products instead of the new one.

I actually do. I even still own a hoody with “Candy” printed to it, but of all my Liverpool stuff I like my Toffs retro shirt best. No sponsor, plain an simple. Do you feel comfortable running around like an advertising pillar? I don’t. If you put advertising stickers of some company on your car you get money for it. Shirt sponsors basically get much exposure for free. We pay to wear their logo. I support LFC, not Standard Chartered, Carlsberg, Candy, Crown Paints or Hitachi.
