Bob Paisley paid a then British record fee to bring the Scottish great to Liverpool from Celtic in 1977, and Kenny quickly became an integral part of a great Liverpool side. He won an astonishing six League Championship titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, seven FA Charity Shields, three European Cups and one UEFA Super Cup in an unprecedented period of dominance.
An iconic figure in Liverpool’s history and a man who sits close to the hearts of many, Dalglish scored 172 goals in 515 games for the club between 1977 and 1990. Two managerial spells followed, winning three League Championships, two FA Cups and most recently, a League Cup in 2012.
Liverpool and football fans alike are invited to Gala Events’ “Lunch with a Legend” at London’s prestigious British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) on Friday, 5th December 2014. Renowned for superb cuisine and service, guests are sure to enjoy hospitality to the very highest standard.
The afternoon will be hosted by Sky Sports News presenter Hayley McQueen and includes a three course meal, complimentary drinks a comedian and of course the fascinating discussion with Dalglish.
