Liverpool are looking to sign Southampton‘s Nathaniel Clyne this summer to solve their problematic right-back problems.
The 24-year-old Londoner made 41 appearances in all competitions for the Saints last season, scoring three times – one against Liverpool on the opening day last season.
His contract expires next summer and Liverpool have bid around £10 million but Southampton want nearer £15 million.
Ronaldo Koeman’s side this week signed Cedric Soares from Sporting Lisbon in readiness for Clyne’s departure.
